The Holy Bible was written in a mixture of hebrew, aramenic and greek. Later translated into latin and then, with the aid of Martin Luther, maid available for the common man to read. So, if there had not been a german monk you would have to study the Bible in latin.

Isn't it Israel which is God's chosen country? That's what the Bible states, at least....quite a lot about Egypt, Israel, Canaan and Babylon in there but I can't find a single passage that mentions the USA. Even the Romans are mentioned once or twice.

1) When God dictated the Bible to people he did it in his language, English, it was then translated into other languages like hebrew so the jews could read it and realize they were stupid. God's language, and Jesus's language, is English: The language of the world.

Re: Slavery. I figured that once God was proven to exist the scientists and liberals would be forced to agree that the Bible is right, and the bible is OK with slavery, so I see no reason why I shouldn't be able to go buy some slaves.

I would be a little scared if the leader of my country said that God had spoken to her. Or if the Prime Minister told about his weekly chat's with Jesus. Why should I be envious of America?

I'm happy with our school system, with our government and our social programes. People from all around the world wonder why our students get the highest grades in international PISA-studies and why we have so few gun shootings, although our's is supposedly the third-richest country, meassured in guns (America bein in top, but also being in top with crimes involving guns).

So why would I be envious of America, which most of the world despise for George W. Bush who, for example, did nothing for two weeks when Katrina struck New Orleans, but rather stayed at his ranch? Our president responded to the Tsunami in 2004. Our president is a most admirable personality, and I could not think of anyone I'd rather be having leading our country.


I love my country, and am going to do military service, although it's not required from me. Because I'm prepared to die for the snow, the lakes, the beaches, the forests. So why would I want to have anything to do with America?

I would like to visit America. To see if LA really has a special ambulance, designed for the over-weight people. To watch Grand Canyon. To find out whether the world's view of Americans is true. To see things for myself.

I agree that atheists are wrong and I don't like liberals either, but the things you say towards them are not Christian at all. Who are you to judge anyone and moreover condemn them to hell.
