They said "A jury of his peers found him guilty."

They said "In a time of war, he released classified information that aided the enemy."

They said "He intentionally lied under oath to cover up his role, and the role of the Bush and Cheney, in committing treason."

And most ignorantly they said, "No one is above the law."

God is above the law!

He created the entire universe in just a few days, only 6000 years ago, and even moved the light from distant galaxies very close to the Earth so we would be able to see the stars (otherwise, it would take millions of years for the light to arrive, duh).

God created the law, and so obviously he is above it.

For example, the "human law" says that you can't stone someone to death for blasphemy, but as far as God is concerned, it is against the law NOT to stone them to death!  See?  Same goes for homosexuals and Democrats.

God is not the only person who is above the law.  People he picks to represent him on Earth are above the law too, like George W. Bush, who was picked by God to run the Country Of God (The United States Of America)!

But wait, there's more!!  The same "above-the-law-ness" extends beyond Bush.  Just as God picked Bush to run the World, Bush picked Cheney to be his VP, and Cheney picked Scooter to be his chief of staff.

Ergo... Scooter was picked by God to be Dick Cheney's chief of staff, and therefore, Scooter Libby is above the law (the human law that is).

Bush's decision to commute his sentence (which means he will never spend 1 day in jail... HELL YEA!!!!) is really just Bush acting based on the wishes of God, and is totally in line with Bush's history of taking actions that are in the best interest of himself, and the planet (and the Universe, since we are the only living creatures in the Universe).

This move by Bush is pure justice on a Biblical scale!! He has GOT to be the greatest President EVER!

A liberal pusillanimous over in the CIA has leaked a list of their "Gonzalez/Bush Approved Interrogation Techniques." And I have to say, I was expecting there to be more violent things listed. There is no mention of burning them with a coat hanger, or beating them, or shocking their balls with a car battery, or attacking them with dogs... so this much just be a partial list.

Long Time Standing: This technique is described as among the most effective. Prisoners are forced to stand, handcuffed and with their feet shackled to an eye bolt in the floor for more than 40 hours. Exhaustion and sleep deprivation are effective in yielding confessions.

The Cold Cell: The prisoner is left to stand naked in a cell kept near 50 degrees. Throughout the time in the cell the prisoner is doused with cold water.

Water Boarding: The prisoner is bound to an inclined board, feet raised and head slightly below the feet. Cellophane is wrapped over the prisoner's face and water is poured over him. Unavoidably, the gag reflex kicks in and a terrifying fear of drowning leads to almost instant pleas to bring the treatment to a halt.

According to the sources, CIA officers who subjected themselves to the water boarding technique lasted an average of 14 seconds before caving in. They said al Qaeda's toughest prisoner, Khalid Sheik Mohammed, won the admiration of interrogators when he was able to last between two and two-and-a-half minutes before begging to confess.

"The person believes they are being killed, and as such, it really amounts to a mock execution, which is illegal under international law," said John Sifton of Human Rights Watch.

Well booo fricking hooo.  So what if we are doing mock executions?  Who cares if we torture some of these people.  They don't even believe in Jesus Christ!!!  You could argue that is enough by itself to torture them until they convert to Christianity.  But on top of it, they are foreigners, and may or may not be helping terrorists. 

So I think, bottom line, we have a right.... no.... an OBLIGATION, to torture people who are suspected to something until they confess, so that we can all remain Free!  If torturing a few innocent people is the price we have to pay for Freedom, then thank God that George W. Bush is willing to torture till the cows come home, because I don't want to lose my Freedom!

 

To everyone who thought I was turning into a traitor yesterday, saying that Alberto Gonzalez should resign, APRIL FOOLS!

Torture works for getting terrorists to confess to whatever they did.

Wiretapping is very important for keeping tabs on people who hate this country, like Moveon.org and the Democrats.

Secret prisons are good for Democracy, they allow us to hide the evil doers while we torture them. We don't want anyone coming and rescuing them!

Alberto, you are the grestest Attorney General in the history of the United States! Keep up the good work, and don't let these liberals push you around. Throw their asses in jail!

I have decided that, even though I think he is the greatest Attorney General of all time, I think Alberto Gonzalez needs to resign.

I thought the evidence would show that Gonzalez had done nothing wrong with the firing of these lawyers, but it turns out that what he did was fire attorneys who were prosecuting Republicans for corruption.

On top of that, it appears very clear that Gonzalez lied over and over again to Congress and to the public about this issue.

That is not my only reason for my change of heart.

After further thought, I have decided that it isn't really fair to kidnap people and hold them in secret prisons without charging them with anything, and without allowing them to prove their innocence, all while not allowing them to communicate with the outside world, as agents torture them.

At first I thought this was a great idea, but I think maybe it is going too far in the name of stopping terrorism.

Gonzalez also advised the President that he didn't need to follow laws that had been passed regarding the wire tapping of US citizens. The Supreme Court told Bush he was breaking the law, but Alberto Gonzalez urged him to continue. I can't say I support our President breaking laws on a frequent basis.

So I have concluded that Alberto should resign and appologize to everyone for betraying the public trust bestowed upon him.

Article I, Section 9:

The Privilege of the Writ of Habeas Corpus shall not be suspended, unless when in Cases of Rebellion or Invasion the public Safety may require it.

But just because it can't be "suspended" doesn't mean that you don't have to "apply it" to a certain group of people who follow a certain religion and talk with a certain accent!  Brilliant!!

Steve Howards used to have sick daydreams where he would "fantasize" about what he would say and do to Dick Cheney if he ever met him.

But, thankfully for all involved, when Howards DID meet President Cheney, those homoerotic desires were overcome, possibly because they were in public, and Howards 2 children were present.

Instead Howards let fly a horrific string of cutter mouth cuss words, assaulting Cheney!

I know this is funny, but at the same time this is awesome because now this is actually our reality thanks to the leadership of George W. Bush.

Bush could make 1 call, just 1 phone call, and every Democrat in the Senate would be arrested by the Secret Police and taken to a secret prison where they could be tortured and convicted of any crime, without even showing any evidence!

I can't wait for the first time Bush does this.  Legislation will pass so quickly b/c there will be no Dems to stand in the way, and in the House all the Defeat-o-crats will be too scared to vote against the President, because if they did it's bye-bye Congress, and hello Waterboard.  HAHA!
