On hand for the test: Bill Clinton's Secretary of State Madeline Abright offers
her congratulations to Kim Jung Il on a successful nuclear explosion.Over 4 years ago the president faced the nation in his State of the Union address and boldly faced the evil doers who had been behind the attacks of September the 11th.
How could he not? They were filling up nearly half the seats in the House Chamber that night. But rather than attack the Democrats for their lack of moral rightousness and flawed policies that led to the attack, he choose instead ot be a uniter, and addressed the 3 nations who planned the 9/11 attacks.
Thus was born the Axis of Evil.
Iraq, Iran and North Korea.
George W. Bush had 2 options. He could either continue the policies of past failed liberals like Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter, and George H.W. Bush, negotiating with these countries to try to keep the peace, and using our allies and the UN as a way to build international pressure on these countries. Or, he could use this rare opportunity to find the right ingredents for totally shutting down a "rogue" state.
