Egypt blogger jailed for insulting Islam, why can't we do this?

If you are going to stand outside your home with a big bomb magnet, don't come crying to us that we bomb you! This article makes me really wonder where we have gone wrong.

Egypt has jailed a blogger for insulting Islam.

I'm not sure who Islam is, but the article talks about the real reason being for insulting Muslumism.

Why is it that a 3rd world country like Egypt, can be progressive enough to put Atheists in jail, but in 2007, and in the United States of America, the greatest country in the world, and the home of "one nation, under God", we can't do the same!!?!?

This is an outrage! An OUTRAGE!!

People like Richard Dawkins should be arrested for Blasphemy and sent to a PMITAP or a FPMITAP for a long long time.

With the 2008 elections heating up, we need to make sure that candidates are on the record as supporting prison terms for people who say bad things about Jesus, God, Christianity, the Church, Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell, or any Republican candidate.

It's time we LEAD the world in Religious conviction and stop letting those crazy Muslums make us look bad!

Bring him up on charges anyway!

Even if he WERE not an American, then that would just make it all the more easy! Just declare him an enemy combatant and skip the trial and crap. Just grab him in the middle of the night and take him to some prison in Turkmenistan or some other place.

Just to clarify; Islam is the religion. A muslim is one who follows Islam. As a christian is one who follows Christianity.

Thank God. I was afraid this web site was for real, but it's obviously making fun of conservatives. "I don't know who Islam is"? "Muslumism"? How could anyone think that was anything but somebody kidding around? Not even loyal Bushies are that ignorant.
