Newt: For Freedom's Sake, Free Speech Must Go

On Tuesday Newt Gingrich spoke out about the dangers of free speech, and why we must kill free speech in order to save Freedom.

When it comes to free speech a "different set of rules" may be needed to reduce terrorists' ability to use the Internet and free speech to recruit and get out their message, Gingrich said.

"We need to get ahead of the curve before we actually lose a city, which I think could happen in the next decade."

Gingrich didn't just talk about the negative side of free speech, as he sharply criticized campaign finance laws that he said were reducing free speech (the good kind of free speech).

Gingrich also said he hadn't decided if he was going to run for President in 2008, and he won't decide until.... September 2007?????!!?!!! WHAT??!?!?

Ok Newt... from one liberal hater to another... you got to get off your ass and get moving on this thing NOW!!

John McCain has been planning his 2008 presidential run for 6 flipping years now!! There is no time to lose! We need a REAL conservative to take over the Whitehouse in 2008, and that means either you or Brownback.

I don't know if Mormons pray to Shiva, or Vishnu, or Zeus, or Budda, but it doesn't matter... they are praying to Demons (see Pat Robertson Decries "Demon Worship" (Alah, Budda, Shiva etc) for proof.).

It is your duty to God that you run for President, and that you start doing it RIGHT NOW!!

Mormons don't believe in the Bible... they believe in the "Book of Mormon", which says that Jesus was an Indian!

I also think they refuse to use technology! They live in wood cabins and use horse drawn carriages to get around. The only way they make money, is by making wood furniture! These people are idiots!!! I mean seriously... they think the Book of Mormon is the word of God?? IDIOTS!!! It's the Bible!

I think we just need government appointed internet moderators, maybe 10,000 of them, or so, who can enter any website discussion group, delete posts, find out people's IP addresses and report them back to the government, and so on. Plus a lot more NAS surveillance. Godly people like us wouldn't have a problem (hell, we'd probably be asked to be government moderators), and anyone whe complained would probably be a terrorist sympathizer anyway and so should probably be exported to Yugolsavia for torture.

I'm sad...you didn't mention Newt's comment to reporters after his tirade against free speech...he said he was pushing for this so that eventually, the American people will come to their senses and force him to become president. What I don't understand is why this man didn't just go to South America and become el presidente of some country down there, where he could limit free speech all he wanted. I'm sure our man Pinochet would have given him an in down there. Newt would have been as far right-wing as all those guys who rule with iron fists.
