I see that in neither recent poll is Gay marriage, Flag-burning, and Privatizing Social Security considered a top issue by Americans.

If that wasn't enough, in an October '06 AP poll, same-sex marriage was rated the least important of the 10 issues tested and was given the lowest priority rating ("not at all important") by 39% of those polled. The next highest issue in terms of % that rated it as "not at all important" was Immigration with 6%. The AP didn't even feel flag-burning was an issue that needed to be addressed, and while the survey polled opinions for "Social Security" there was no refernce to privatization, since "Privatization" is an opinion, not an issue.

So again, your little website is just plain wrong. The numbers don't lie. But keep the hits coming, because I don't think I have ever had so much satisfaction than when I am easily debunking your lunatic Republican claims.

And is it too much of a stretch to assume that the Americans concerned about Social Security are more concerned about Social Security running out than they are about Social Security being privatized? I see Ball Kicker didn't (or couldn't) address the Fox News poll I posted that came to the same conclusions about national priorities as CNN and Harris.

If you are going to tell me that Fox News is a "liberal media group" than your head is further up your ass than I ever imagined. Sure, Fox News may be to the left of, say, YOU! But the same can be said about 300 million Americans. Does it make you feel good to be to the right of everyone else in the country? Does it make you feel good to be dead wrong about everything you post on this site?

Alright, assuming that is a real poll, and assuming that Fox didn't just subcontract the poll to the lowest bidder (who would be a Democrat, because they are poor and will work for cheep like the dirty Mexicans), you're still wrong.

First, the economy; people are worried about their money. What does Social Security do? It gives economic assistance. So, they're just worried about SS, they just called it something different.

Then we got Iraq. Maybe if you listened to Pastor Fred Phelps once in a while, you'd know that God hates fags, and American soldiers in Iraq die because God is angry that Democrats accept fags, and even let them marry! Once we stop gay marriage, and kick the gays out of our society, soldiers will stop dying in Iraq, and democracy will spread like wildfire through the Middle East. (which would also lower gas prices. That's another 8% for gay marriage)

And now terrorism. What do terrorist do? Burn American flags! The burning flag is like the fuel that drives the terrorist machine. If they can't burn flags, they'll all be like, "We can't burn flags? Aww. I'm going to go home and pray to Jesus." But if we can't stop burning of flags in America, how are we doing to do it in the world? This is just the first step to ending the terrorism problem.

Polls are stupid anyway. They are just multiple choice questions with nothing but leading answers. Like this poll, "You are stupid. Do you Agree, or Strongly Agree." Yeah, I thought so.

First, since Fox News has a conservative agenda to put forth, why hire a "Democrat" polling company? Fox News has all the money in the world and if public opinion companies were affiliated with political parties (which they are not, or they would be out of business), why wouldn't they spend a little more $ to ensure thay their agenda is not undermined?

As for the economy, to say that Americans are "just worried about SS" is just plain wrong. You really think all 23% who rated the econonomy the #1 issue did so SOLELY on the issue of Social Security? I would also tend to think that issues like the record national debt, inflation, stagnant wages, eradication of middle class jobs, record levels of personal debt, and increased tuition and student loan costs might have some bearing on the economy as well. And besides, no one is saying that Social Security is not an important issue. If you recall the text of the original post, "Privatizing Social Security" was the issue. Since most Americans are against privatization, I fail to see how that alone is an important issue, unless it would be to STOP privatization.

But the real gem from your post was the conclusion you drew that stated that gas prices are a direct result of gay marriage. They're basically the same issue, right? How did I not make this connection before? Look, idiot. First, I don't believe that God has a preference in the political party he supports. Where in the Bible does it say that God hates Democrats? The concept of Democrats and Republicans is a very recent phenomenon, but hey, if you could show me where in the Bible it says this, I would be all ears. And the fact that you place more emphasis on the opinions of one Pastor (who happens to be an extremist) than a scientific sampling of the American people is incredible. And I'm willing to bet that soldiers are dying in Iraq from IED's, gunfire and car bombs, not God's wrath. Sounds like God is the real terrorist in your opinion.

And flag-burning is an absolute joke. I watch a LOT of news and in the past 5 years, I cannot recall a single recorded incident of Americans burning the American flag. It's an issue cooked up by the GOP to get one-dimensional thinkers like you all riled up before the elections. Flag-burning is not only NOT an important issue, it is not even an issue at all.

And no, polls are not stupid. What do think an "election" is? It's a POLL, moron, and if you are going to tell me that the very basis of our great society is stupid, then perhaps a monarchy or dictatorship would better suit you. I hear North Korea is nice this time of year.

Finally, since you think polls are stupid, you have forfeited your right to use any poll data in any arguement, even a poll that supports your claims. It doesn't really matter, since no poll supports anything you have said. Has it ever occurred to you that maybe you aren't the only person on the planet?
